ACT

American College Testing Assessment

The ACT is a qualifying test required for admission to many colleges and universities in Indiana and in many schools outside the state of Indiana. Juniors who wish to make early application to colleges should take the ACT in the spring of their junior year.

REGISTER EARLY!
Students who are considering attending college are strongly encouraged to take the ACT or SAT in the spring of their junior year. They may then retake the tests if necessary during the fall of their senior year. Students may obtain a registration packet and student information bulletin (Preparing For The ACT Assessment) from the Ben Davis High School Student Services Office and mail it before the registration deadline.  Students can register online for the test as well.

NOTE: colleges may expect students to take a writing component as part of their standardized test.

REMEMBER: It is your responsibility to pick up your application and to mail it. Your name must appear on the list of registered students for any test given at Ben Davis.

Test Day:

Students must have their admission ticket and a valid photo ID to be admitted. Students will be denied entrance to the test without a valid photo ID.
