Master Sergeant Khanthasa–Marine Instructor

Master Sergeant KhanthasaMaster Sergeant Khanthasa served 24 years on active duty in various duties to include, but not limited to Supply Administration, Drill Instructor, Marine Corps Martial Arts Instructor, Assistant Marine Corps Officer Instructor, Expeditionary Logistics Instructor, and Operations Chief.

During his time in the Marine Corps, Master Sergeant Khanthasa was stationed at Cherry Point and Camp Lejeune North Carolina, Marine Corp Recruit Depot San Diego, Camp Pendleton and 29 Palms California, Recruiting Headquarters Indianapolis Indiana, Marquette University Naval ROTC Milwaukee Wisconsin, and Quantico Virginia.

Master Sergeant Khanthasa has been deployed with the Marine Expeditionary Unit in support of the Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. During his deployment he has traveled to Kuwait, Greece, Italy, Spain, Kenya, Northern Africa, Japan, Turkey, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates and the Adriatic Sea. Master Sergeant also deployed with Combat Logistics Regiment to Darwin, Australia in support of the Marine Rotation Force.

Master Sergeant Khanthasa’s personal accomplishments includes a Bachelor’s Degree Technical Management with a concentration in Project Management, CrossFit Level 1 Certified, High Intensity Tactical Trainer Level 2 Certified, and Marine Corps Martial Arts Instructor Black Belt 1st Degree.

Although Master Sergeant has just begun his first year as a Marine Instructor and Drill Team coach for the Marine Corps JROTC program, he has many successful years of experience providing formal classroom instructions and informal instructions.

Sergeant Major Martin–Senior Marine Instructor

Sergeant Major MartinSergeant Major Martin was on active duty in the Marine Corps for 23 years. During his career in the Marine Corps he served in many capacities. Sergeant Major Martin worked as an artilleryman, drill instructor, administrator, marksmanship instructor, anti-terrorism instructor, Inspector-Instructor, supply officer, and senior enlisted advisor.

While in the Marine Corps, Sergeant Major Martin was stationed at multiple duty stations. Specifically, he was stationed at Camp Lejeune North Carolina, Okinawa Japan, Bremerton Washington, Parris Island South Carolina, Reading Pennsylvania, and Indianapolis Indiana. While deployed Sergeant Major Martin went to Korea, Iraq, Kuwait, Greece, Italy, Spain, Kenya, Northern Africa, Japan, Turkey, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates and the Adriatic Sea.

Sergeant Major Martin has a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and has completed many Professional Military Education courses. Further, he has served as a platform instructor/teacher for many years.

Sergeant Major Martin has been working at Ben Davis High School for 9 years as the Marine Instructor and drill team coach. In 2021, Sergeant Major Martin was reassigned as the Ben Davis MCJROTC Senior Marine Instructor and rifle team coach.
