D&D Club D&D Club is a place where students can come together, create characters, roll dice, and create stories through tabletop roleplaying games like Dungeons and Dragons. It doesn’t matter if you are a beginner or an expert, there is room at the table for you.  Gage Cook
Deca DECA (an association of marketing students) is an organization whose program of leadership, personal development and career encouragement is designed specifically for students enrolled in Marketing Education. Diamond Dance Program The mission of the Diamond Dance Program is to encourage young ladies to become the best possible versions of themselves, to achieve high academic standards, to express themselves through dance and performance, to develop moral and social values through mentorship and community service, and to study the risks that impact young ladies in order to navigate the vicissitudes and blessings of life. Giant Speakers (Speech/Deabte) An extracurricular activity providing competition in different events ranging from team debate to humorous and dramatic interpretation. All active students are eligible for membership in the National Forensic League, which gave its start to such celebrities as Oprah , Brad Pitt and Kelsey Grammer. Gary Peters, Fred Douse
Theater Crew Also called “The Crew”. Actors act but “The Crew” makes it happen! Being part of “The Crew” means we take an idea, develop and create, build and paint, rehearse then execute for a live audience. Crochet/Weaving Club Want to relax, talk, and create? Join the Crochet and Sewing Club where you will learn to make scarves, blankets, headbands, hats, etc. You can also learn the skills that are needed for light sewing, such as, sewing on a button, repairing a minor split in a seam, or fixing a hem in a pair of pants or skirt. KGA KGA brings Korean music, drama, ect. fans in BD together. We are a safe space for all fans to discuss anything Korean Culture related (not restricted to kpop) with others of similar interest. As a club we do multiple activities related to Korean music, culture, games, and tv. Kenya Rizo A
 PA Giants The Public Address Announcer Club is for students interested in becoming PA announcers at sporting events or other types of events. The PA Announcer generates excitement from the crowd and communicates important information over a microphone and speaker system in a manner where people can understand clearly. No experience is necessary, just a willingness to step outside your comfort zone and try something new! Our club MAY have opportunities to work with the Athletic Office and announce some Ben Davis sporting events. Jon Easter A
J Club This club will advocate for free speech and social awareness. This will be a place for students to create, communicate and collaborate on current event content. The J-Club encourages open communication on concerns in the news. We will also talk about photography and design and ways to present quality content online in our ever-changing world. Girls Night in International Girls Nite In- where you are welcome, wanted, valued, and loved more than you can imagine. We are a mentorship group for teen girls looking to grab on to a life rope of HOPE before drowning in a sea of self destruction. Whether it’s something you’ve done, or something that’s been done to you- it’s not the end of your story. Come meet Jimme and team GNI as we meet together to find HOPE in the darkness. Fellowship of Christian Athletes The Fellowship of Christian Athletes operates according to an internally written statement of faith. This statement consists of nine points based on Bible teachings and Christian principles. The Fellowship of Christian Athletes lists four core values for its ministry: Integrity, Serving, Teamwork and Excellence. Each core value has a corresponding scripture. LGBTQQ & Friends In addition to providing a cool support network for LGBTQQ students (and staff), this club will also be a call to action in our school community and beyond. We will discuss current issues affecting the LGBTQQ community and brainstorm solutions together. During the club, we will work on educating ourselves and the broader school community about sexual orientation and gender identity issues. We may bring in outside speakers to cover a particular topic such as LGBTQQ history. We will organize a “Pride Week” or “LGBTQQ Awareness Event” and offer a series of educational workshops, panels, and pride celebrations. We will work to organize a “Teach the Teachers” staff development day which will focus on teaching school staff how to be better allies for LGBTQQ students. Senior Class Officers* **THIS IS A CLOSED GROUP & NOT OPEN TO JOIN** This is an elected position during your junior year. As senior class officers, you will be responsible for the annual district township food drive, evening of excellence ceremony, graduation, preschool gatherings, fund-raising, year round food pantry, & Thrive community based assistance. They select your student body motto, song and flower for graduation. There are stipulations and requirements for this elected position. Spell Bowl We are the academic spell bowl team! We invite you to come and quiz over a given list of words for a spell bowl showdown. This is no spelling bee. We spell as a team. We have an undefeated regular season. We have won the area regional the last two years as well as been state finalists since 2017. Come and join a family which will challenge you to the fullest. Play by Play Giants This club is for students who are interested in sports broadcasting or play-by-play. Students will get a chance to learn about play-by-play, preparing for broadcasts, becoming an analyst, interviewing and much more. Some students showing EXCEPTIONAL dedication, drive and interest may have a chance to call sports on WBDG, 90.9 FM. Distance Running Club Through videos, guest speakers, discussion, and research we will examine the best strategies, eating habits, reasons for training, collegiate racing and other facets of cross country and distance running in general. Ryan McMaster C

Academic Super Bowl Are you a smartie? Then Academic Super Bowl could be the club for you. ASB is an independent study academic competition team. Each year there is a different theme and this year’s theme is the Roaring 20’s. You will have materials to study on your own and we will have practice questions during meeting times. Exercise your brain and build your academic resume. In the Spring, we will have 3-4 after school competitions. You must be able to attend the after school competitions in order to participate in the club. Shannon Rose C
Radio Broadcasting The Podcasting and Radio Broadcasting Club will examine current trends in the podcasting and radio broadcasting industry. We’ll talk about equipment, podcast types, and techniques for better broadcasts and podcasts. Jon Easter C

Riley Dance Marathon Riley Dance Marathon is a year-long fundraising project for Riley Hospital for Children, which leads to the big Dance Marathon event in the spring. Club members are expected to help create and plan fundraising opportunities and most importantly plan and implement the Dance Marathon event. You do not need to be a dancer to join or participate. Miniature GIANTS Do you play Dungeons & Dragons or other RPG’s? Are you an avid fan of tabletop games but tire of seeing all that boring, unpainted plastic? Well, then this club is for you. Bring Change to Mind The mission of Bring Change to Mind is to end the stigma and discrimination surrounding mental illness. Our vision is to create multimedia campaigns, curate storytelling movements, and develop youth programs to encourage a diverse cultural conversation around mental health. Photography This club will explore the world of photography. If you have your own camera that is helpful, otherwise we will take photos with cell phone cameras and discuss the history of photography. Hispanic Student Association In BD’s Hispanic Student Association, students will learn about different Latinx culture, they will develop leadership and organizational skills, and they will also meet other students from different cultural backgrounds. BD Theater Troupe Are you a lover of theatre and acting? Have you wanted to get into acting but didn’t know how? Would you like a say in various aspects of the theatre productions that happen at Ben Davis? This is the club for you.
