Gregg Pulley – Head Coach

Photo of Gregg Pulley-Boys Bowling Head CoachCoach Pulley is in his 4th year as head coach of the Boys Bowling Team. He has been an avid bowler since the age of 6 competing and placing in many youth and adult tournaments. Coach Pulley graduated in 1997 from East Bay High School in Gibsonton, FL lettering in Football and Wrestling. After high school, he attended Taylor University majoring in Secondary Education and was also a member of the college football team.

He has numerous honor scores and awards. He has rolled multiple 300 games and looks forward to competing at a high level again. He is looking forward to another year as head coach and building on to a successful and storied program.

Coach Pulley resides in Indianapolis with his wife Julie, son Owen, daughter Olivia, and their dogs, Shea, Tank and Tuxx. Owen was a 4-year letter winner and Semi-State Finalist in 2023 and now a freshman at Indiana State University. Olivia is a freshman at Ben Davis, a starter on the Girls Varsity team and excited to begin her bowling journey. Julie is a Special Needs Paraprofessional at Robey Elementary as well as the girls Varsity Bowling Coach. Coach Pulley works for Wesley’s Landscaping as the Director of Business Development.

Don Freeman – Assistant Coach

Photo of Don Freeman-Boys Bowling Assistant CoachCoach Freeman is in his first year as an assistant coach. Don is a 1975 Ben Davis High School graduate. He has been an avid bowler for over 45 years. Coach Freeman has 28 honors scores including thirteen 300 games and two 800 series. He enjoys helping our youth bowlers achieve success. Coach Freeman’s grandson, Drayten,is a freshman and a member of the varsity boys bowling team.
