BD Dads’ Mission and Vision

Our Mission

BD Dads’ Organization provides support services for Ben Davis High School through collaboration with parents, school personnel and the community, as we challenge students to reach their potential. We will promote school involvement of adult males. Through our conduct, we shall act as role models and mentors to promote positive core family values. We will share our wisdom gained through life’s experience to prepare students to become productive young adults, as well as reasonable, rational, and responsible in their actions. We shall promote student achievement along with accountability. Our dedication to this Mission Statement shall serve as a visible sign of our commitment to the students of Ben Davis High School.

Our Vision

As BD Dads our roles are multifaceted: mentor, advocate, role model, and friend. The BD Dads serve as a visible sign of commitment to the students of Ben Davis High School. We make ourselves accessible to the students, staff and the community as a support system in order to promote achievement. The BD Dads serve in all areas of Ben Davis High School and Vocational Center including athletics, fine arts and academics. Our presence within the school helps ensure a safe learning environment. Ultimately, we are DADS – Devoted Advocates for Dedicated Students, fostering a true learning community.
